From the first patient that walked through the door, I feel GOD has blessed Oak Ridge Physical Therapy.

Early in 2008, with the encouragement of my family and friends, I decided to take the plunge and start my own physical therapy practice.  I started this outpatient facility after working 16 years as a Physical Therapist/Certified Athletic Trainer at Greensboro Orthopaedics (now Emerge Ortho) and two years treating Division I athletes at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

We have grown from 2 to 17 awesome staff members, including 10 clinicians with a combined 125 years of medical experience.  In the last 12 years, we have treated over 10,000 patient cases referred by over 600 medical providers (how can that even be?  But it’s true).

Patients have been referred by physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners (including surgeons from Wake Forest Baptist Health, UNC Healthcare, and Duke Medicine), as well as, hundreds of patients who came directly with no referral (Direct access via NC Physical Therapy Practice Act).

Our staff has treated hundreds of athletes and students from all the local high schools and some colleges.  In October of 2018, I acquired Deep River Rehabilitation in Eden, NC from a physical therapy friend of mine, and then in August 2020, we opened a new clinic in Summerfield.

Oak Ridge Physical Therapy has earned the respect of these communities/neighborhoods and is the trusted go-to source for physical therapy.   I am extremely blessed by that and so glad we provide treatment techniques including physical therapy, trigger point dry needling, cupping, spinal manipulation, balance/vestibular therapy, and lymphedema.  Thank you for choosing Oak Ridge Physical Therapy!
